Luis M. Vila was born in 1983 in a little suburb of Chicago, Illinois but spent most of his life in California where he grew up with his mother, father, and younger brother. He recently changed his residence to the surface of the sun but the locals call it Arizona. Luis graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Sociology and minor in Criminology and went on to acquire a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Cal State San Bernardino. Throughout the course of his undergraduate studies, Luis developed a strong interest in both law enforcement and the works of Nostradamus, letting his imagination run wild, and crafting the entire series while sitting in a movie theatre. Luis spent a year volunteering at a local police department to understand routines and procedures from a realistic perspective.
Every skill Luis has ever acquired in life has been completely self-taught. From cooking, to computer repair, drawing, and even writing. Luis cites Stan Lee and Hideo Kojima as his biggest creative influences. Although raised in a very religious household, Luis considers himself a spiritualist and chooses to follow the words of God through his own interpretation. Luis is an avid movie buff and plays an abnormal amount of video games. He favors an imaginative story and realism above all else including cinematic effects and computer generated images.
